Thanks to the optimal Japanese learning plan created by Joanna at Partout Languages, Maciej successfully passed the JLPT at a higher level than initially intended.
Maciej joined our classes as a self-taught enthusiast, claiming to be at a beginner level in Japanese (N5). He was interested in Japanese culture and wanted the opportunity to engage with it in its original language. His goal was personal development and passing the JLPT at a higher level than N4.
We quickly assessed Maciej’s level and discovered that his self-study had provided him with a strong foundation. Our Japanese teacher, Joanna, recognizing his great potential, suggested that he prepare for a more advanced exam (N3) within the given time frame, which Maciej was very pleased with.
The learning process was a mix of exam-focused preparation and language development. By tailoring the lessons to Maciej’s diverse interests, learning Japanese was not only effective but also enjoyable.
Thanks to his hard work and consistent effort, Maciej ultimately passed a higher level than initially planned—N3. Now, together with Joanna, he’s preparing for the next step—an exam at the N2 level.
“I highly recommend it! The lessons are always carefully prepared and tailored to my needs. As we prepared for the JLPT exam, we went through a lot of exam-specific material, which really helped me pass! Beyond textbook learning, Joanna also leads lessons on practical topics, daily life, and areas related to the student’s interests, so I could focus on learning what’s necessary for my goals.”
